Red Dog
Red Dog is a fairly new card game
that was introduced to the Nevada casinos during
the 2025’s. Red Dog is also referred to as Ace
Deuce, In Between or Between the Sheets and
Yablon.
How to Play Red Dog
Red Dog is a single hand game
where a player does not compete against the
dealer. The dealer deals two cards face up from
one standard 52 card deck. If the two cards that
are dealt are consecutive then another game is
started. The game is considered a push when the
first 2 cards are consecutive, for example a 6
and a 7 or a 3 and a 4.
Card values are as follows:
Two through Ten are worth their
face values
Jacks are worth 11
Queens are worth 12
Kings are worth 13
Aces are worth 14
Based on the spread between the
pair of cards, you must decide whether to
"Raise" or not. The spread is equal to the
number of cards between the two cards dealt, not
including them, for example the spread between 4
and 7 is 2. Only 2 cards (a 5 and 6) are between
the 4 and 7.
If you choose to raise, the same
amount that you raised is place in the raise
circle and your bet is increased by the same
amount.
Then a third card is dealt. The
player wins if the value of the third card falls
between the first set of cards. For example, the
first 2 cards dealt were a 4 and an 8. If the
third card is a 7 then you win.
A special winning case is created
when all three dealt cards are the same.
All bets are paid out according
to the scale displayed on the game table.
