Online Craps

Craps is the most exciting casino game around.  Playing craps is fun and best of all very easy to learn. In fact you can learn how to play craps in just a few minutes.

How to Play Craps
The players at the craps table take turns rolling two dice.  The player that is rolling the dice is called the shooter.  All of the players at the craps table bet on the same roll no matter who the shooter is. The first roll of a new round is called the come-out roll.

There are over 40 different bets to choose from when playing Craps but the great thing about craps is that you can have hours of fun by just using the two most common bets.

The first and simplest bet that you can make is the pass line bet.  Many players only play the pass line bet.

On the come-out roll, if you have placed a pass line bet you will win when either a 7 or 11 is rolled.  If a 2, 3, or 12 is rolled you lose. This is called craps. When any other number (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10) is rolled it is called the point. Once the point has been set, if the point is rolled again you will win your pass line bet unless a 7 is rolled first.

Once the point is established you can make an additional bet behind the pass line bet. This is known as the Odds Bet. The great thing about the Odds Bet is that it is the only bet in the casino that does not have a house edge. The Odds Bet in craps is paid off with true odds.

Also, most casinos offer double odds. This means that you can make a bet that is twice the size of your pass line bet. For example, if you have mad a pass line bet of $10, after the point is established you can choose to make an odds bet of $20.

The odds bet are paid as following:
If the point is 4 or 10 it pays 2 to 1.
If the point is 5 or 9 it pays 3 to 2.
If the point is 6 or 8 it pays 6 to 5.

The second simple craps bet that you can make is called the don't pass bet. The don’t pass bet is the opposite of a pass line bet. If you place a don't pass bet you will win if the come out roll is a 2 or 3. You will lose if the come out roll is a 7 or 11 and tie if it is a 12. If any other number is rolled it is called the point. In the point round the don't pass bet wins if a 7 is rolled and loses if the point is rolled.

Playing online craps has become increasingly popular mainly because it is one of the easiest games to play. Would you like to give online craps a try? Then check out one of our recommended online casinos.
